Goodness...
Well, Shauna and Stuart survived their adventure today...skydiving. It was a lot of fun to watch, but I would never jump out of an airplane. For one, I have a fear of falling, not of heights, but of falling and not being able to control what is happening to me. Two, I cannot jump out of or off of things by instinct...It's just suicidal. And here's a laugh, I can't even jump or dive into a swimming pool! Yes, I'll admit that that may be a little ridiculous, but I just cannot make myself do it! LOL! I guess no one has to worry about me going crazy and jumping off of a building or a bridge! (Yes, I am laughing at myself.)
Anyways, that was my day today.
Now, for the past few days...
Leadership Retreat. Nothing too exciting to brag about, but it was okay. Except for one thing...Having a friend of mine, no names mentioned, but you all know who it was, get busted for leaving the retreat and going out to buy some beer, only to get caught with it later, and then sent home. Not cool at all. That was very stupid, and I have lost some respect for that person. That person really disappointed me, because that person knows better than to drink at a school retreat, just like you could not have alcohol on high school trips. It's not only a rule, but common sense as well. So right now, that person, who was a friend of mine, has really screwed up a good friendship. It may take awhile for me to gain that trust back. But anyways...
I'm glad to be back in town again! I missed everyone while I was gone! John (Bootyjams) had his birthday party last night which was fun. School starts a week from Monday. I'm ready for it, but at the same time, I know that this will be one crazy and hectic semester for me. Mostly because of the classes I'm taking (16 hrs) and because of work. So I need all the luck in the world. But I'm excited! I don't know why, because it's school, and I hate going to classes. But then again, with school comes people, so you get to see all of your old friends again. So, yay! I just hope I can handle all of the craziness and stress. So...
Well, I had more to say earlier, but forgot. So I'll just stop now. Have a great last week of summer vacation! Bye!
