Weird and yet normal week
Well, it's been awhile since I last posted, and I'm sorry for anyone who was just dying to read my very interesting blog. Right. Anyways, the past week has been a weird and yet normal one ( due to the same old routine of school and stuff, only), and I'm sorry that I have been out of sorts lately (for those of you who know what's been going on, anyway.) But I promise that I will get better. It's just going to take some time, like everything does. Life's little lessons are not that easy to understand or even realize, most of the time. Oh and sorry ahead of time if this doesn't make since. I just need to be able to write or type and get things off of my mind. So don't feel obligated to read this.
I have come to the conclusion that I really don't like Valentine's Day. This realization is due to the most current and recent events that have taken place in my life. At least I am working on V-day, which is tomorrow. Jerad... I'm sorry about your loss! But at the same time I want to thank you for calling me and asking me to work for you. This is one of those weird things... Sometimes God's timing sucks, and other times it is perfect.
Once again, don't feel obligated to read this!!! I'll probably read over this later and be like, WTH?
But back to Valentine's Day... Like Kelly, this year I am going to attempt to be happy... And hey! It's supposed to snow this weekend! (sorry Randy!) Snow is one of my most favorite things in the world! Last year it snowed on my birthday, which was great, cuz I wasn't in the greatest of moods that day, and this year it's going to snow on Valentine's day, another day that I will most likely be feeling down and sad. I also just want to spend some time thinking about some things that have been going on lately. And what better day to do so? Okay, so most people, well couples anyway, spend the day with love and cards and candy and flowers, but I choose to mope around! Funny and weird and sad, I know. But if us singles are still getting together tomorrow night, I promise to have finished my moping so that none of you are burdened with it! I just hope that in some way, my view of Valentine's day will be changed. To this day, I have never spent Valentine's day in the way that the media and businesses say you should. I have only ever had a bf on V-day, once, and it sucked cuz I had to work, and at the time he and I hadn't seen each other in weeks. He did come by my work and give me a stuffed animal (polar bear, one of my favorite animals), but it was from Tom Thumb. I know, because a few days later I found it at Tom Thumb. I also got in trouble that night at work because he had visited me. So that sucked. He was a loser and a bum, too. So aside from that, I have never had a Valentine. I don't even count that one either.
Wow, this is turning out to be really long... I apologize, but if you've read this far and have yet to stop reading, now's not too late!
I wish I could say I am not bitter about the past or what has happened most recently (of which I have no hard feelings towards him, it was just really bad timing, but then if it hadn't happened then we would just be lying to ourselves), but if Valentine's day was not tomorrow, it would be so easy to say so! The business world really knows how to make single people feel lousy! That's funny cuz one of these days I'll be in the business world, marketing products and what not, and all of you are going to HATE me at this time of year! Oh well, until then...
Okay, this is really getting too long, and I'm just rambling... So sorry if you read all of this, but it was your choice! However, going against all that I just said, I want to wish all of you a Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that it is better than mine! To all of you couples out there, good luck and have fun! To all of my single buddies, let's just pretend that it's not Valentine's day, and have fun doing whatever. I do suggest that we not go out somewhere, cuz everyone and their mom will be out. And who knows? Maybe it will snow enough to make a snowman or something! (lol...but I was able to last year!) If it does, then it will be a great day!
